The City of Wills Point has experienced a catastrophic failure at the main water pump station at Lake Tawakoni, which feeds the city. City workers and crews from MVA have been working continuously, in efforts to restore service.
As you awake this morning, you may experience low to no water pressure due to the service line disruption from Lake Tawakoni.
We will provide updates here. Please refrain from contacting the city office as all personnel are involved in the restoration of service. Updates will be provided immediately upon the receipt of information from crews in the field.
We expect once the service is restored, a Boil Water Notice will be issued. Until the service is restored, we ask customers to practice extreme water conservation.
This affects ONLY City of Wills Point water supply customers.
