The metering issue encountered at the City Pump Station has been resolved. With the towers being drained and our clear well almost empty, it takes several hours to treat new incoming water to fill the clear well for pumping to the towers. City personnel, along with representatives from our chemical laboratories, determined earlier the necessary settings for water treatment. The flushing of any residual water caused by the earlier issue is almost complete. Following flushing, the filling of the water station clear well will resume. Estimated time for pumping back to the towers would be 7:00 pm at the earliest, but could run as late as 10:00 pm, depending on our flow and usage rates. When pumping to the towers resumes, you should have water pressure at your house or business.
