The City of Wills Point is pursuing a matching grant from Texas Parks & Wildlife for improvements to the Lester Park Playground. The City requests that Wills Point Community residents and other interested stakeholders complete the 2021 Parks Grant Survey to assist in planning and implementing recreational improvements. The purpose of the survey is to document what public recreational opportunities the community desires for the outdoor playground equipment at Lester Park Playground.
Our Goals: To provide a safe playground for children living in and visiting our community. To ensure playground is accessible and inclusive for children and care givers. To increase childhood wellness through natural and adventure play. To foster community support for a well-loved playground.
Your input is appreciated and we encourage everyone to take a moment to complete the 2021 Parks Grant Survey. Survey results will be provided to no entity or organization other than the City of Wills Point, Schaumburg and Polk, Inc., and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
